Stop living in the past!

Change is constant, make it your friend.

Life is rarely as bad as you think it is.

Start creating your desired life and stop accepting what you don’t like.

Care a whole lot less!

Oh, and smile more often!

You’re welcome!

So many people live in the past! I have a relative who does this often and guess the ratio of bad to good memories they reflect on: 90:10 (90 bad v 10 good — just to be clear). They seem to have this perverse delight or comfort in wading through the misery. They keep bringing up crap from their lives and live through it again and again! That’s no way to live!

Research that states every time you live through an event mentally and emotionally, it is like living through that event in real life again!

Reflecting on the past and learning from it, that’s another thing altogether!

I wrote about what I’d learnt in life at 60 here, and mentioned they weren't the only lessons. Here are some more.

🌊 Most catastrophes … aren’t!
