Hello! I work as a Change Manager at a hotel resort by day and like to write and focus on self improvement in my "spare" time.
I'm also a recovering productivity nerd. I've played with thousands of apps and systems with the mantra of "less is more" always at the back of my mind, which I rarely paid attention to, until recently. Now I'm stopping to smell the roses a bit more. Something I should have done years ago.
I've also spent around 40 years in the corporate world and the results suggest I've done a few things right. I'm sharing my experience for free.
Everyone's context is different though, and what worked for me, may not yield the same results for you, or in the same timeframe (it might be even quicker).
A couple of lessons I learnt from reading Tom Peters:
- Try a lot of things, keep what works!
- Be mindful you might be missing the blindingly obvious!
I always eat my own dog food before offering it to others. (Meaning, I have tried this stuff ...)
