With a new week and all its challenges headed your way, boost your self-confidence with these 5 techniques!
These are 5 things I am constantly doing to make every week a success and satisfying!
🧠Challenge negative thoughts and replace them with positive affirmations.
- You are not your thoughts! Become aware of your thoughts and self-talk. That is the first step. Once you do that you have power over how you talk to yourself.
- What is your biggest challenge this week? Break it down step by step and you’ll see it’s easier than you first imagined! Think about how you’ll achieve your goals and tasks, not how you won’t! Always think and talk in achievement terms!
- Write down affirmations as though they already exist. (Not: “I will be calm and steady” but “I am calm and steady!”)
🏆 Celebrate your successes, no matter how small. This may feel cheesy by saying “Yay!” to yourself but if you don’t … 🤷‍♂️
- Did you hit your step target even though you couldn’t be bothered? WIN!
- Did you prepare for the meeting with your boss or client? AMAZING!
- Did you make your bed before you left…
