Productivity: Workflow First! The App … Rarely Matters!

Trust your system, not an app!

How many apps have you looked at over the past year or so to help you “fix” your productivity?

You know there is no “perfect” app. Yet you continue to search for “the one”.

How many apps have you returned to, hoping to find some magic feature you completely missed the first time? (or second, third …)

Dare you quantify how much time you have spent downloading, exporting, importing, and migrating data from one app to another, only to revert to the original app, or look for yet another?

I suggest you don’t.

Have you thought of “picking and sticking”? Picking one app and sticking with it for at least six months?

That’s what I eventually did!

And it wasn’t the app I was hoping for. It has limitations. It’s not “pretty”. It’s not Omnifocus, Todoist, Things, or any of a myriad of popular apps.

✅ It’s Microsoft To Do.

I know, dull and boring, right?

Allow me to explain.

Firstly, the corporate job requires I use M365, Microsoft’s Office Suite which includes To Do. So that removes one decision point. But I can still…
