The episode where I don’t take myself too seriously!
We’re all here building our craft and wondering if the world is interested.
We hope so, of course. I’ve now written over 120 stories and enjoy the process. I love it when I get an idea that just flows.
But it’s tough when you have a great idea … and the words just won’t come. I have quite a few drafts like that. Maybe you do too!
How many times I’ve written a piece thinking, “This is it! This is the one!” and yet it never is or hasn't been so far.
And you know what?
I am fine with that. I enjoy the wrestle of putting, not just words, but stories and concepts on paper. Well, screen.
And thinking about the thought, “This is the one!”, what do I actually mean by that?
Like, is one story going to save or change my life? Pfft! Hardly!

It’s the anticipation.
I love it. Hitting publish and seeing what the world thinks. I love it when I get a clap or two. A comment.
Or, I re-read the story and simply enjoy it myself. I think, “Yes, that’s what I wanted to say!”
