If you want to make better decisions you need to dig a little deeper into things that will affect your future. You need to be curious about your interests.

It started when I was 16.

It’s juvenile and shallow.

You can read the story for free here!

You see, I liked this girl. I mean I really liked her. Cute, funny, sporty and an open, honest individual. The problem is, everyone liked her. I realised she was out of my league and that was that.

Then I saw another girl. She was pretty too. (I was 16, okay!) Though this time there was something different. As I got closer to her, her perfume (Charlie!) was hypnotic. She was … the one!

And then it hit me, she was wearing so much make up. I mean she was pretty, but I couldn’t get past the make up. (I said this was juvenile!)

I’d gotten with 20 feet and what I saw wasn’t the same as I had seen from afar. As immature as that is, I was 16 and it was what it was. Right or wrong.

All an immature 16 year old thinks is, “Eww, if she needs that much make up …” To be fair some guys and girls like that. Just not this one!

What is the 20 Foot Rule?
